What is veganic gardening?
Veganic gardening grows healthy plants without manure,
blood meal, bone meal or other animal-derived fertilisers.
Instead, it builds living soil with plant compost,
leaf mould, mulch, green manures and living roots.
This approach protects peatlands, reduces pollution and
supports the soil life that makes healthy ecosystems possible.
It is not simply organic gardening without chemicals. It is a practical,
plant-powered way to create resilient spaces for people, plants and wildlife.

The Plantastics Method
Everything we teach and design follows four simple principles.

1. Veganic by design
We build fertility with plant compost, mulch, green manures and living roots. No manure or animal-derived fertilisers.
2. Peat-free
We use peat-free growing media to protect carbon-rich peatlands and the wildlife they support.
3. Native-first planting
We prioritise locally appropriate native plants that feed pollinators and strengthen local food webs.
4. Regenerative structure
We design in layers to protect soil, retain water and create resilient spaces that improve over time.
Together, they help create spaces that build living soil, protect fragile ecosystems,
support local wildlife and become more resilient over time.
1. Choose your path
2. Get the right support
3. Grow at your own pace
